How to Use the Application

Installation Process

Step 1: Open the Installation Link

Since the application was not yet available in the app store, the installation is completed through a direct installation link.

  1. Open the installation link provided.
  2. Select the specific workspace where you want to install the application.
  3. You will be redirected to the Administration section.

Step 2: Install the Application

  1. In the Administration section, locate the application.
  2. Select the application.
  3. Click on the “Use Application” button.
  4. The system will request two fields:
    • Workspace
    • Board selection
  5. Select the desired board.
  6. Click “Add”.

Once completed, a new tab for the application will appear inside your workspace.


Step 3: Configure the Application

Inside the application tab, you will configure the integration.

Required Information

You will need to enter:

  • Your OpenPhone API Key
  • Your email address
  • Payment information (credit/debit card)

Free Trial Information

  • The application includes a 30-day free trial.
  • After the trial period, the subscription cost will be $9.95 per month.

After entering your information:

  1. Click “Connect and Start”.
  2. The system will confirm the connection.
  3. You will also see the expiration date of your trial period.
  4. You can cancel payments at any time.

Using the Application

Step 4: Access the Main Board

  1. Return to your main board.
  2. Open the “Apps” section.
  3. Locate the installed application.

Inside the application, you will find multiple automation recipes.


How the Automation Works

The application uses automation recipes to:

  • Detect phone numbers registered in your board.
  • Send the information to the OpenPhone API.
  • Automatically send SMS messages to the registered phone numbers.

Step 5: Configure an Automation Recipe

  1. Select one of the available recipes.
  2. Configure the trigger conditions.

Example Configuration

In this example:

  • When the status changes to “Ready”
  • The system will automatically send an SMS through OpenPhone.

Required Fields

You will configure:

  • Status trigger
  • Phone number field
  • SMS message content
  • Sending phone number

Example Message

Test Message
  1. Confirm the settings.
  2. Select the OpenPhone number that will send the message.
  3. Activate the automation.

Testing the Automation

Step 6: Trigger the Automation

  1. Change the status of an item to “Ready”.
  2. Wait a few moments for the automation to execute.

You will then see:

  • The automation execution log.
  • The SMS message sent successfully.

You can also verify the message inside your messaging dashboard.


Summary

The application allows you to:

  • Connect your OpenPhone account
  • Configure SMS automations
  • Trigger text messages based on board status updates
  • Automatically communicate with contacts registered in your board

Once configured, the automation runs automatically whenever the selected status changes occur.
